Teacher - After School Program

<p>Our organization is seeking an <em>energetic</em>, and <em>dedicated</em> Teacher/Program Leader to help us lead program activities and provide an enriching after-school experience for our K-5th grade students. As a Club K Program Leader, you will organize and lead daily activities that are both educational and exciting.</p>

<p><br></p>

<p>Schedule - Part-time position, Monday-Friday afternoons, average 12-20 hours per week.</p>

<p>Location - This position would work in one of our school programs in the Beaverton, Tigard-Tualatin or West Linn-Wilsonville School District.</p>

<p>Compensation - Starting hourly pay rate of $18.75+ DOE and level of education (increased hourly pay is available for highly qualified teacher applicants)</p>

<p>Qualifications:</p>

<p><em>Teachers must have </em><em>ONE </em><em>of the following -</em></p>

<ul>

<li>Experience teaching school age children (K-5th)</li>

<li>Experience working or volunteering in a licensed childcare facility with ages 5-12</li>

<li>Completed teacher-qualifying certification(s) + trainings</li>

<li>Any degree in the education field or 2 years of college-level courses</li>

<li>An equivalent combination of childcare job experience and education</li>

<li>

<p>Qualifications needed before start date:</p>

<p><em>Club K will provide guidance on where and how to meet the following requirements:</em></p>

<ul>

<li>CPR &amp; First Aid Certification</li>

<li>Food Handler’s Certification</li>

<li>Enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR)</li>
