<p>The Learning Disabilities Association of Minnesota (LDA Minnesota) is seeking passionate, licensed teachers to join our tutoring team. If you enjoy working one-on-one with students and helping them build confidence and academic success, we'd love to hear from you.</p>

<p>Our tutors provide individualized, research-based instruction to children, adolescents, and adults with learning differences, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Every tutoring plan is tailored to meet the student's unique needs and goals.</p>

<p>Current Areas of Need</p>

<p>We are actively seeking tutors with experience in:</p>

<li>Reading</li>

<li>Writing</li>

<li>Executive Function Skill Building</li>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<p>Required</p>

<ul>

<li>Current Minnesota teaching license</li>

</ul>

<p>Preferred</p>

<ul>

<li>Experience teaching or tutoring students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, ADHD, or related learning differences</li>

<li>Experience monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes</li>

<li>Training or experience in Structured Literacy approaches such as Orton-Gillingham or similar multisensory reading instruction</li>

<li>Experience teaching executive function skills</li>

</ul>

<p>Schedule</p>

<p>Tutoring hours are flexible and arranged between you and your students.</p>

<p>Typical availability includes:</p>

<ul>

<li>School Year: Weekdays between 4:00–8:00 p.m.</li>

<li>Summer: Weekday mornings and afternoons</li>

</ul>

<p>Weekend tutoring is not currently offered.</p>

<p>Tutoring may take place:</p>

<ul>

<li>Online (Google Meet or Zoom)</li>

<li>At LDA Minnesota's office</li>

<li>In client homes</li>

<li>Community locations such as libraries or schools</li>

</ul>

<p>Employment Requirements</p>

<p>Final candidates must successfully complete a background check and provide documentation verifying authorization to work in the United States.</p>
