<p><strong><a href="https://ams-md.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ambulatory Anesthesia Care </a></strong>has created a safe, effective, and financially viable&nbsp;<strong>office-based anesthesia model</strong> that has been replicated throughout the country.&nbsp; We are proud to be setting up our <strong><a href="https://youtu.be/-Ii48pjJ1vI" rel="noopener noreferrer">office-based anesthesia</a></strong>&nbsp; in&nbsp; Abilene, TX.&nbsp; <strong>We are looking for skilled and talented pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join our office-based anesthesia practice to</strong><strong> service our office-based anesthesia facilities in Abilene.</strong></p>

<li>2nd &amp; 4th weeks: Monday and Wednesday</li>

<li>1st &amp; 3rd weeks: Monday and Tuesday</li>

<p>If you enjoy<strong>&nbsp;working alongside an anesthesia </strong>and<strong> surgical team</strong>&nbsp;and setting the example in delivering safe and quality patient care – <strong>this position is for you</strong>! &nbsp;All&nbsp;nursing care is conveniently provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday - with<strong> no evenings, Sundays, or holidays!</strong></p>

<p><strong>The Perianesthesia nurse will be responsible for the pre-operative assessment and care of the patient, including intra-operative care and post-operative/recovery care.&nbsp; </strong>Additional responsibilities include maintaining the pharmacy and supplies, safely handling all equipment, and participating in quality performance improvement activities. &nbsp;From time to time, we may have you assist with completing pre-operative patient assessments via our secure patient portal.</p>

<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TX</li>

<li>A minimum of 3 years or ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience</li>

<li>BLS and ACLS certification is required, PALS certificate is preferred</li>

<li>Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations</li>
