7.5 Tonne Collection and Delivery Driver

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We’re looking for someone to take the wheel and own a designated local route. You aren’t just moving boxes; you’re the final boss of the delivery game, ensuring every parcel hits its destination with 10/10 service. With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers.&nbsp;Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.</p><p><strong>The Role Breakdown</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Drive the Vibe:</strong> Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You’ll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.</li><li><strong>Master the Tech:</strong> No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.</li><li><strong>The Main Character Energy:</strong> You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.</li><li><strong>The Hustle:</strong> You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.</li></ul><p>If you’re someone who loves autonomy, stays tech-savvy, and enjoys being out in the real world rather than stuck behind a screen, this is your lane.</p>

<p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li><strong>The Essentials: </strong>A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.</li><li><strong>Experience: </strong>Ideally 6 months recent driving&nbsp;experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.</li><li><strong>Vibe:</strong> You’re professional, approachable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li><strong>Fitness: </strong>You’re physically active and comfortable with the lifting involved in the job.</li><li><strong>Values: </strong>You care about doing a good job and treat customers and colleagues with respect.</li></ul><p>Ready to start?
