Diesel Mechanic

<p>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:</p>

<p>Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.</p>

<p>Requirements</p>

<p>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:</p>

<p>Self-starter with positive can-do attitude</p>

<p>Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred</p>

<p>Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year</p>

<p>Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred</p>

<p>ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus</p>

<p>This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.</p>

<p>Starting rate $25-35/hr depending on experience and certifications</p>
