<h2>Standard Job Description</h2>
<p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br>drive the planning, execution, and post‑event actions of assigned trade shows. Working independently, the incumbent travels domestic and international (≈ 35 % of time) to oversee exhibit set‑up, on‑site support, and dismantle while ensuring each event aligns with brand standards, assigned budget, and strategic business goals.<br> <br><strong>Flawless Execution</strong><br>Own the full event life‑cycle: exhibit‑space selection, transportation, catering, vendor coordination, on‑site logistics, and teardown.<br>Maintain the annual trade‑show calendar, develop detailed project plans, and enforce deadlines.<br>Maintain records and files, show planning documents, budget tracker, and trade show schedule updates for assigned shows<br> <br><strong>Vendor & Contract Management</strong><br>Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors (hotels, convention centers, exhibit contractors, shipping providers).<br>Manage quotes, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and expense tracking<br>Request model shipments and promotional materials for assigned shows. <br>Cross‑Functional Collaboration<br>Partner with Product Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Communications, and Viz Comms to define event objectives, target audiences, and messaging to create a memorable customer experience.<br> <br><strong>On‑Site Operations</strong><br>Travel to event locations to oversee exhibit set‑up, provide real‑time support, and manage pack‑up/return shipment of materials.<br>Resolve schedule, vendor, shipment, or logistical issues promptly; act as the primary point of contact for on‑site matters.<br> <br><strong>Post‑Event Review & Continuous Improvement</strong><br>Conduct post‑event “hot‑wash” debriefs, analyze attendance, costs, and results; gather feedback from Internal stakeholders and make recommendations for future participation.<br> <br><strong>Physical Requirements</strong><br>Ability to lift and move event materials onsite (up to 20 lb)</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities</li><li>Self‑starter with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication</li><li>Proven stakeholder‑management and negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to work evenings/weekends and travel ~35 %<br> <br>We are seeking candidates who bring a collaborative spirit and an innovative mindset to every project.</li></ul><h2>Desired Skills</h2>
<ul><li>5-7 years experience managing trade shows;</li><li>2-3 years of project management experience</li><li>Certification CTSM or CMP (preferred)</li><li>Awareness of RMS platforms and strategy </li></ul><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p><strong>GeoZone Definition:</strong> GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
