<p>&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Scope</strong> &nbsp;</h3>

<p>As the Staff Applications&nbsp;Software&nbsp;Engineer&nbsp;&nbsp;at&nbsp;Ambiq, you will&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;supporting Ambiq’s&nbsp;Apollo&nbsp;and&nbsp;Atomiq&nbsp;families&nbsp;of SoCs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This role will work&nbsp;with our hardware and software development teams, field engineering team, and customers to&nbsp;develop&nbsp;software, including&nbsp;example applications for&nbsp;Ambiq&nbsp;and customer evaluation hardware,&nbsp;device drivers, HAL updates, and Zephyr enablement. In addition, the Software Engineer will&nbsp;debug device level software issues, support field engineering with customer issues, and&nbsp;help&nbsp;create&nbsp;customer-facing&nbsp;documentation such as application notes and software design guidelines.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The successful candidate&nbsp;should have a strong understanding of embedded development on Cortex-M MCUs,&nbsp;bare-metal and&nbsp;real-time&nbsp;operating systems,&nbsp;and&nbsp;be familiar with&nbsp;debugging&nbsp;the same.&nbsp;&nbsp;They must&nbsp;possess&nbsp;strong written and oral communication skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The person in this role will be responsible for&nbsp;supporting Ambiq’s field engineering team and customers, coordinating with the global team to make improvements and fix customer issues,&nbsp;and extending Ambiq's offerings with new software examples, application notes, and software design guidelines.</p>

<li>Design,&nbsp;debug,&nbsp;porting,&nbsp;and&nbsp;analysis&nbsp;of&nbsp;embedded&nbsp;microcontroller&nbsp;software&nbsp;drivers,&nbsp;algorithms,&nbsp;application&nbsp;code,&nbsp;board&nbsp;support&nbsp;packages,&nbsp;automated&nbsp;scripts,&nbsp;and&nbsp;design&nbsp;test&nbsp;cases&nbsp;to&nbsp;provide&nbsp;the&nbsp;required&nbsp;functionality&nbsp;to&nbsp;end&nbsp;customers.&nbsp;</li>
