<p>Job Summary:</p>

<p>The Robotics Hardware Technician V (Tech 5) is a Department Manager responsible for leading a team of hardware technicians while remaining technically hands-on</p>

<p>This role owns day-to-day department operations, team performance, and project delivery. The Tech 5 sets expectations, removes blockers, and ensures work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.</p>

<p>Pay Range: 50.51 - 57.73 EUR</p>

<p>Responsibilities:</p>

<ul>

<li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of hardware technicians (Tech I–IV)</li>

<li>Handle scheduling, workload balancing, and resource planning</li>

<li>Conduct performance reviews and support career development</li>

<li>Foster a positive, accountable team culture</li>

<li>Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts</li>

<li>Provide technical guidance on complex builds</li>

<li>Serve as final escalation point for hardware issues</li>

<li>Perform advanced assembly and troubleshooting as needed</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with build standards and safety practices</li>

<li>Ensure work meets quality and safety standards</li>

<li>Own delivery of department workstreams</li>

<li>Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and customers</li>

<li>Track progress, identify risks, and drive issues to resolution</li>

<li>Improve workflows, documentation, and standard processes</li>

<li>Ensure tools, parts, and materials are properly managed</li>

<li>Help establish and refine department SOPs</li>

<li>Identify efficiency improvements</li>

<li>Promote safety, quality, and best practices</li>

<li>Support scaling of operations</li>

<li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement</li>

<li>Represent the department professionally</li>

<li>Participate in onsite meetings and reviews</li>

<li>Communicate status and risks clearly</li>

</ul>

<p>Qualifications:&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>

<li>Ability to pass a background check</li>

<li>Expected to know 25% travel language</li>

<li>Ability to speak English&nbsp;</li>

<li>6+ years of team/project management</li>

<li>2+ years in a lead or supervisory role preferred</li>

<li>Hands-on robotics, automation, or advanced hardware experience preferred</li>

<li>ME/EE Degree, or Business Management degree preferred<br>(Equivalent experience and/or education encouraged to apply)</li>

<li>Experience building, testing, or deploying robotic systems</li>

<li>Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills</li>

<li>Comfortable reading schematics, drawings, and build documentation</li>

<li>Experience with robotic subsystems, sensors, motors, actuators, conveyors, and end-of-arm tooling</li>

<li>Experience with cabling, harnessing, and advanced troubleshooting</li>

<li>Ability to diagnose system-level hardware issues</li>

<li>Strong people management and communication skills</li>

<li>Comfortable giving feedback and holding accountability</li>

<li>Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure</li>

<li>Able to interface professionally with engineers and customers</li>

<li>Relevant experience may substitute for formal education</li>

<li>Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts</li>

<li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li>

<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted</li>

<li>Authorized to work in the U.S.</li>
