What You'll Do

Design mechanical components, assemblies, and structures using Creo

Create production-ready 3D models and engineering drawings

Develop concepts and support designs from initial idea through release

Prepare and support design reviews

GD&T to drawings and models

Work with engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet requirements

Review designs for accuracy, completeness, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards

Identify design issues and recommend improvements

Support mechanical and electro-mechanical system development

Utilize Windchill for product data and configuration management

Required Experience

3+ years of Creo design experience

2+ years of Windchill PLM/PDM experience

4+ years creating finished 3D models for manufacturing

Experience designing mechanical structures, assemblies, or hardware

Experience with concept development

Experience preparing design review content

2+ years of GD&T experience

2+ years working with complex mechanical or electro-mechanical designs

Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Active Secret Clearance or Active Interim Secret Clearance

Preferred Experience

Model-Based Definition (MBD)

Aerospace or defense industry experience

Experience working within controlled engineering and configuration management environments

What Makes Someone a Strong Fit?

This position is best suited for a mechanical design engineer who has hands-on experience using Creo and Windchill, understands GD&T, creates production-ready 3D models, and has worked on mechanical or electro-mechanical hardware development within a structured engineering environment. An active Secret or Interim Secret clearance is required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $71.92 - $71.92/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
