About this role

We're looking for a Drainage Investigation Engineer to join the Auger Team, covering Bristol and surrounding area. As part of the role, you'll be trained to carry out subsidence investigations alongside a range of drainage investigations. Our total package is worth £36,412 - £42,122 without overtime.

Financials

<li>Starting Salary - £32,381.75 - £37,793.70 dependent on experience</li>

<li>Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500</li>

<li>5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1781 - £2,078.65</li>

Overtime

<li>Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £38,280 - £44,302.76</li>

The Role

<ul>

<li>Independently investigate drainage systems and recommend appropriate repairs</li>

<li>Learn and carry out subsidence investigations, including identifying potential causes and gathering relevant information and evidence</li>

<li>Logically establish ownership and the cause of the customer's issue</li>

<li>Confidently talk our customer through the works, giving them peace of mind</li>

<li>Complete trial holes to locate foundations and collect soil & root samples</li>

<li>Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ</li>

<li>Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required</li>

</ul>

Preferred Experience

<ul>

<li>Use of CCTV camera (recording and labeling)</li>

<li>Use of CAT scanner in order to identify buried services and to trace/locate the drainage system by use of sonde</li>

<li>Reinstatement of various different domestic surface types including; paving slabs, block paving, cold lay tarmac, concrete, etc.</li>

<li>Ability to complete small repairs - Replacement of gullies, restbends, small sections of shallow pipework</li>

<li>Prior experience of completing trial holes</li>
