Procurement Professional (IPT-PI-SU-2026-145-GRAP)

<p>You will join the Procurement and Industrial Services Group (PI), the central unit responsible for procuring all supplies and services for the organisation. As a Procurement Professional in the Supplies (SU) section, you will participate in the new ERP implementation project and Source to Contract (S2C) project, as well as the procurement of software.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in the new ERP implementation Project.</li><li>Participate in specific procurements for supply and IT contracts and license agreements, including conducting price inquiries and invitations to tender, negotiating terms, and placing orders and contracts.</li><li>Provide regular reports to management on procurement progress.</li></ul><p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p><p><u>You have experience in the following areas:</u></p><ul><li>Drafting of commercial documents for a supply/IT contract or a license agreement.</li><li>Defining procurement strategies.</li><li>Sourcing new suppliers.</li><li>Communication and negotiation.</li><li>Managing and following up commercial aspects of contracts, including critical examination and detailed analysis of commercial offers.</li></ul><p><u>Skills:</u></p><ul><li>Experience and knowledge&nbsp;of procurement of supply IT/contracts and /or license agreements.</li><li>Good communication, able to challenge constructively, adapt to feedback, and persuade others of your point of view.</li><li>Able to&nbsp;supporting the negotiation team in commercial, technical, and contractual negotiations.</li><li>Able&nbsp;to deal with ambiguity and conflict.</li><li>Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.</li></ul><p><u>Eligibility criteria:</u></p><ul><li>You are a national of a <a href="https://home.cern/about/member-states" rel="noopener noreferrer">CERN Member or Associate Member State</a>.</li><li>You have a professional background in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics (or a related field) and have either:<ul><li>a <strong>Master's degree with 2 to 6 years</strong> of post-graduation professional experience;</li><li>or a <strong>PhD with no more than 3 years</strong> of post-graduation professional experience.</li></ul></li><li>You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.</li></ul>
