<p>Position Name : Senior Embedded Audio Engineer</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Generic Embedded Firmware Development Skills:</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent Programming Skills in C</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understanding of various processor and microcontroller architecture like Cortex-A series, ARM series processors etc.</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Working experience of on bare metal, RTOS, device driver development</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Working experience of architecting embedded systems</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Good Debugging skills and hands on with coding and tool usage</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Linux Kernel programming skills, device driver embedded systems experience as added advantage</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Audio Expertise:</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Technical depth in acoustics, electronics and DSP</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Basic understanding on physics of sound and acoustic transducer/component parameters and test methods</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Working with audio data handling/processing from microphone</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of audio test systems/equipment/tools for Audio performance and quality testing (For example – Audio Weaver, ACQUA , Soundcheck, Audio Precision etc.)</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiar with digital audio interfaces/formats (SPDIF, I2S, PCM, PDM,TDM)</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Test/verification of electrical design for high volume audio product</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Nice-To-Have</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience performing design verification for high-volume products in an engineering lab environment would be a plus</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;DSP software development approaches and knowledge would be plus</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Other Skills:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent written and verbal communication</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Direct customer (US or Europe based) interaction will be added advantage</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Write high quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environment.</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in feature and designs discussions within and across teams</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Evangelize and inform with well-written design documents and conduct peer-reviews</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug the hardest problems live on some of the most innovative IoT devices.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
