You will function with a high degree of autonomy, managing master planning and inventory optimization while serving as a technical resource for the broader manufacturing team.<br>________________________________________<p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p>The <b>Lead Manufacturing Specialist – Material Plan &amp; Execution</b> is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials from suppliers(Global /Domestics _ through various departments to meet strict production schedules. You will function with a high degree of autonomy, managing master planning and inventory optimization while serving as a technical resource for the broader manufacturing team.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>1. Material Planning &amp; Master Scheduling</b></p><ul><li><b>Master Planning:</b> Manage the master production schedule (MPS) and ensure it aligns with material availability and customer commitments.</li><li><b>Requirements Management:</b> Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to trigger purchasing needs and internal shop orders.</li><li><b>System Integrity:</b> Maintain accurate lead times, safety stock levels, and lot sizes within the SAP &nbsp;system</li></ul><p></p><p><b>2. Execution &amp; Shortage Management</b></p><ul><li><b>Expediting:</b> Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve "line-down" risks and critical shortages.</li><li><b>Shortage Reviews:</b> Lead daily or weekly shortage reviews, assigning clear actions and recovery owners.</li><li>PO &amp; SLA placing against the MRP requirements &amp; Get OA from Suppliers</li><li><b>Open order review:&nbsp; </b>Periodic review of Open orders with Supplier</li><li><b>Import &amp; Export :&nbsp; </b>High level of knowledge in import &amp; Export&nbsp; Process as well to handle Duty process update in SAP</li></ul><p></p><p><b>3. Inventory Control &amp; Optimization</b></p><ul><li><b>Turnover Management:</b> Balance service levels (part availability) with inventory turns to minimize excess and obsolete stock.</li><li><b>Review of Safety stock /PFEP:</b> Ensure to review Safety stock &amp; PFEP based on every Quarter use &amp; Change in lead times</li><li><b>Disposition:</b> Manage the flow of slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate its reduction or disposal.</li><li><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p></li><li><b>Education:</b> * <b>US:</b> Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain).<ul><li><b>International:</b> Advanced experience in Material Planning comparable to a Bachelor's degree.</li></ul></li><li><b>Experience:</b> Minimum of <b>3–5 years</b> in material planning, production control, or manufacturing execution.</li><li><b>Technical Proficiency:</b> Hands-on experience with SAP /MRP systems</li><li><p><b>Desired Characteristics &amp; Technical Skills</b></p><p><b>Skill Category</b></p><p><b>Key Competencies</b></p><p><b>Technical</b></p><p>Data Analytics (Excel/Tableau), Lean Manufacturing, Inventory Policy .</p><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><p>Strong sense of urgency, ability to influence cross-functional teams, and problem-solving.</p><p><b>Leadership</b></p><p>Experience leading daily "Tier" meetings and project management skills.</p><p><b>Agility</b></p><p>Comfort in a high-speed, dynamic environment where production priorities shift daily &amp;</p><p><b>Communication Skill </b></p><p>Good Level of communication over Team meeting or Mails to suppliers &amp; to create good Business environment</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b><b><b>Additional Information</b></b></b></h1><p><b>Relocation Assistance Provided: </b>No</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
