Dental Assistant

<p>Gold Coast Dental is a privately owned dental practice dedicated to providing quality patient care in a professional and supportive environment. We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) to join our clinical team.</p>

<p>The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent patient care while supporting the dentist and team during daily clinical operations.</p>

<p>Responsibilities</p>

<ul>

<li>Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms.</li>

<li>Prepare patients for dental procedures and help ensure their comfort.</li>

<li>Set up treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.</li>

<li>Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments in accordance with infection control standards.</li>

<li>Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.</li>

<li>Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.</li>

<li>Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories.</li>

<li>Update and maintain accurate patient records.</li>

<li>Assist with scheduling, documentation, and payment processing as needed.</li>

</ul>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<ul>

<li>Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or Dental Assistant experience, as required by state regulations.</li>

<li>Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.</li>

<li>Understanding of infection control and workplace safety standards.</li>

<li>Ability to perform expanded duties permitted by certification, including coronal polishing, is preferred.</li>

<li>Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li>

<li>Additional certifications or continuing education are a plus.</li>

<li>Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.<br></li>
