About this role

<p>Position: Clinic Coordinator<br>Classification: Non-Exempt/Part-Time (.5FTE)<br>Supervisor: Deputy Director</p>

<p>Location: On-site (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)<br><br>The Clinic Coordinator is member of ABC House’s clinical team. Working closely with&nbsp;the Medical Director and Director of Assessment Services, this position ensures&nbsp;effective delivery of services to clients and their families by way of coordinating&nbsp;communication and processes. The Clinic Coordinator also works directly with ABC&nbsp;House’s data systems to ensure that information is tracked efficiently.</p>

<p><br>Principal duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p>

<p><br><u>Data and Systems Management</u><br>- In coordination with Executive Director, Medical Director, and Director of&nbsp;Assessment Services, analyze, establish, and maintain effective systems&nbsp;and processes for gathering clinical data.<br>- Extract and explain data for reporting and grants<br>- Maintain a deep understanding of all databases and systems used to train&nbsp;other employees and troubleshoot identified gaps</p>

<p><br><u>Clinical operations and practice management</u><br>- Oversee case management database and electronic health records (E.H.R.)&nbsp;system, and train clinical and administrative staff on effective use.<br>- Coordinate program evaluation and data analysis for clinical services.<br>- Conduct annual meaningful use audit and attestation for E.H.R.</p>

<p>- Assist medical providers in completing reports</p>

<p><br><u>Insurance billing oversight</u><br>- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on pediatric billing procedures and monitor billing success.</p>

<p><br><u>Custodian of records</u><br>- Serve as agency point of contact for records and information requests.<br>- Facilitate appropriate information sharing in accordance with HIPAA and&nbsp;relevant ABC House policies and procedures.<br>- Maintain up-to-date knowledge relating to records retention, release and&nbsp;HIPAA compliance.</p>

<p><br><u>Oversee Subpoena Requests</u><br>- Serve as agency point of contact for subpoenas and facilitate appropriate&nbsp;information sharing in accordance with HIPAA and relevant ABC House&nbsp;policies and procedures.<br>- Manage and keep the subpoena calendar up to date and accurate<br>- Communicate about important dates and critical deadlines with appropriate&nbsp;staff and partners<br><br>Qualifications and Skills:<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Associates degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Data Management or Medical Office Administration<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelors degree preferred but not required.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education, based on demonstrated knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to successfully perform the position.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong organizational skills<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Data Driven<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Microsoft Office suite and database management. NCATrak or electronic health records (E.H.R.) experience a plus.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience in medical billing preferred.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Mature judgment and ability to work effectively in complicated and/or crisis situations.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of child abuse dynamics, child protection and criminal justice systems preferred.<br></p>
