DB 2(Database ) Developer

<p><b>Role: DB2 Developer</b></p><p><b>Location: Columbus, OH</b></p><p><b>Experience: 5 – 7 Years</b></p><p><b>Contract Duration: 6 months – 1 Year (could be extended based on performance)</b></p><p><b></b></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>· Looking for DB2 Developing experience (Not only an admin experience)</p><p>· Experience on other databases like MS SQL / Oracle databases is a big plus</p><p>· Expert level programming knowledge UNIX Shell Scripting and/or Perl (preferably) and Database procedures for leading automation efforts</p><p>· Clear understanding of Database Architecture, Operating Systems, Client/Server Architecture, Middleware and Hardware (Servers, SAN, Network) for guiding customers of proper security management </p><p>· Excellent technical knowledge gained from hands on role within a global organization. Skills must be current and include; Minimum 10 years’ experience in a mission critical environment</p><p>· Relational database management and reporting </p><p>· Analyzing business MIS requirements </p><p>· SQL </p><p>· Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Ant, Maven, Jenkins.</p><p>· Knowledge of XML, Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).</p><p>· Knowledge in developing ETL scripts or tools is an added advantage.</p><p>· Advanced working knowledge of table driven, customizable, database driven applications, charting and pivot tables</p><p>· Experience in Linux or Unix systems</p><p>· Ability to work in a fast paced environment </p><p>· Ability to multi-task </p><p>· Good communication skills</p><p>· 3 years of experience in support of operational environments that execute on a daily basis (i.e., daily refresh at minimum); with knowledge and / or understanding of effective operations governance methods and processes. </p><p>· 3-5+ years of UNIX experience</p><p>· 3-5+ years SQL experience</p><p>· Basic knowledge of workload automation tools such as Control-M or Autosys.</p><p>· Experience with client / server architecture and deployment of desktop and server solutions to a geographically decentralized user group</p>
