<p>Galvion is seeking an experienced&nbsp;Supervisor I, Manufacturing to join our Plant Operations team in Newport, Vermont.</p>

<p>This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The Supervisor I will lead employees and Team Leads, coordinate staffing and daily production activities, support employee development, and drive a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.</p>

<p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p>

<ul>

<li>Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to manufacturing employees and Team Leads.</li>

<li>Coordinate staffing, employee assignments, and daily production priorities.</li>

<li>Monitor production schedules and performance to ensure customer and operational requirements are met.</li>

<li>Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.</li>

<li>Support Lean Manufacturing and 6S initiatives focused on improving efficiency, safety, and workplace conditions.</li>

<li>Coach, train, and develop employees while supporting cross-training and employee growth.</li>

<li>Monitor departmental performance metrics and communicate issues and opportunities to leadership.</li>

<li>Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, and other departments to resolve problems and improve processes.</li>

<li>Ensure manufacturing activities comply with company policies, SOPs, Work Instructions, and applicable safety requirements.</li>

<li>Identify and communicate equipment, process, staffing, and performance issues that may impact production or departmental goals.</li>

</ul>

<p>WHAT YOU BRING</p>

<ul>

<li>Associate's degree in Business, Management, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>

<li>5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.</li>

<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li>

<li>Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees in a fast-paced production environment.</li>

<li>Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.</li>

<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.</li>

<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.</li>

<li>Mechanical aptitude and injection molding experience are a plus.</li>

<li>Military experience is a plus.</li>
