<p>Electrical Engineering Technician / QA&nbsp;<br>Location: Project Site/Edinburg TX&nbsp;<br>Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Position Summary&nbsp;<br>The Electrical Engineering Technician/QA provides technical support during construction through review&nbsp;<br>of electrical designs, contractor submittals, shop drawings, and installation activities. The selected&nbsp;<br>individual will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are installed in&nbsp;<br>accordance with approved documents and project requirements.&nbsp;<br>The role combines aspects of a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, and Quality Assurance Inspector.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Primary Responsibilities&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Technical Review&nbsp;<br>● Review electrical drawings and specifications for constructability and coordination.&nbsp;<br>● Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, product data, calculations, and equipment&nbsp;<br>packages.&nbsp;<br>● Review Requests for Information and provide technical recommendations.&nbsp;<br>● Assess proposed equipment substitutions for compliance.&nbsp;<br>● Review testing and commissioning procedures.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Construction Support&nbsp;<br>● Participate in design coordination meetings.&nbsp;<br>● Support installation planning activities.&nbsp;<br>● Monitor contractor compliance with approved submittals.&nbsp;<br>● Assist with startup and energization planning.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Quality Assurance&nbsp;<br>● Conduct periodic field inspections of electrical installations.&nbsp;<br>● Verify installation of conduit systems, cable trays, switchgear, transformers, motors, controls, and&nbsp;<br>instrumentation.&nbsp;<br>● Review contractor testing documentation.&nbsp;<br>● Track deficiencies and support closeout inspections.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Minimum Qualifications&nbsp;<br>● Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.&nbsp;<br>● Minimum five years of experience supporting industrial, utility, manufacturing, federal, or heavy&nbsp;<br>commercial construction projects.&nbsp;<br>● Experience reviewing electrical equipment submittals and technical documentation.&nbsp;<br>● Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, medium-voltage distribution systems, motor&nbsp;<br>control centers, and industrial control systems.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Nice To Have<br>● EIT Certification&nbsp;<br>● OSHA 30&nbsp;<br>● USACE CQM Certification&nbsp;<br>● Experience supporting hydropower, utility, or mission-critical facilities&nbsp;</p>
