We are going to Mars and beyond...join us in the journey!</p><p> </p><p>The Asset Specialist Senior perform all assigned tasks necessary to support Asset Management customer requirements and Production Support Services based on demonstrated ability and certification skills.</p><p> </p><p>Tasks may include, but are not limited to material/equipment accountability and control requirements, the primary and secondary receipt, storage, issuing, movement, expediting and maintenance of inventory, material, supplies, tools, and equipment. Process tools and equipment for the Metrology Laboratory. Maintain inventory accuracy of stockroom and work-in-process for issuing materials, components, and purchased and fabricated parts</p><h2>Standard Job Description</h2>
<p><strong>Principal Duties:</strong></p><p>1. Maintain metrology integrated recall tracking history, Update Measurement and Test Equipment records, process equipment, and tooling as required in the appropriate Calibration Tracking System (such as MetNet).</p><p>2. Responsible for creating movement documentation (ATS) for contract and standard tools to onsite locations. Coordinate shipping requirements with management.</p><p>3. Determine actions necessary to reconcile discrepancies between assets physical inventory records and computer accountability control system records by consideration of such factors as asset usage, computer history, documentation, item value, and physical characteristic of assets. Direct or perform the investigation necessary to determine cause of discrepancy. Prepare or direct the preparation of inventory adjustments and inventory reports as necessary.</p><p>4. Responsible for the maintenance of a complete audit trail and location file for material supplies, equipment, tooling, and their components.</p><p>5. Receive raw material from carriers. Ensure raw material meets bill of material requirements which includes verifying traceability and grain direction; performing dimensional checks to verify raw material is cut to manufacturing requirements (i.e., 4 pieces of material 40" long); preparing set-up material; and compliance to bills of material routings.</p><p>6. Attend meetings in connection with assigned work stations and work centers. Review activity reports and maintain periodic follow-up on work progress of lower graded employees. Investigate shortages where items are behind schedule and their non[1]availability is causing major production or test delays. Attend meetings in connection with the review of schedule status, pointing out actual or potential failures to meet schedules</p><p>and suggesting appropriate corrective measures. Suggest to supervisor changes in material handling expediting and follow-up procedures such as improved methods, routing changes, and lead time reductions.</p><p>7. Serve as point of contact internal customers ensuring all concerns are resolved within the work process.</p><p>8. Initial set up of new tool cribs and new stockrooms.</p><p>9. Assist in the initial set up, deployment, and maintaining of tracking or other asset accountability and positioning technologies as required.</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>
<p>• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S Citizenship is required.</p><p>• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.</p><p>• 3 or more years of inventory and equipment accountability experience.<br>• Experience operating and interfacing with a variety of material systems.</p><p>• Able to adapt to change and participate in process improvements with a focus on enhancing material and equipment control.</p><p>•Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs., stand for 9 hours per day, operate material handling equipment i.e. tran-stacker, reach trucks, powered aerial lift devices, pallet jacks, drive a van or truck and climb up and down ladders and stairs.<br>• Must be willing and able to work alternate shifts, non-standard work schedules, and extended hours as required.<br>• Excellent customer service skills.</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
