Head MCAT Mentor

<p>WHO SHOULD APPLY: Any current Altius MCAT Mentor or SPC who is passionate about helping other mentors guide their students to maximum program completion and performance.</p>

<p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p>

<ul>

<li>Continue all assigned mentoring responsibilities for your current students</li>

<li>Meet on a regular basis with the Sr. Director of Student Progress and Director of Mentoring &amp; Achievement to review student progress.</li>

<li>Meet regularly via phone, zoom, or in-person with mentors, SPCs, and struggling students who require support.</li>

<li>Successfully intervene on behalf of struggling mentors or students in a way that is professional, accountable, and motivational—and which produces real, measurable improvements.</li>

<li>Occasionally assist with or manage special projects or events, such as curriculum initiatives or mentor training</li>

<li>OTHER REQUIREMENTS<br></li>

<li>You must have a score of 515+</li>

<li>You must be an active Altius MCAT Mentor in good standing.</li>

<li>You must have a minimum of 10-20 hours per week of additional availability to contribute to the student progress team, beyond what is required to serve the students currently on your roster.</li>

<li>You must be available to fill this role through mid-June 2024 at the earliest; preference given to applicants who are able to remain on the team through at least the 2024-25 school year.</li>
