<p>Frontera is hiring a contract <strong>IT Operations Manager</strong> for a 3-month engagement to run day-to-day IT operations across our business and clinical teams, with potential to extend based on need. This is a management role, not a hands-on technical seat: you'll own an outsourced MSP relationship and junior IT staff, not the tickets and infrastructure work itself.</p>

<p>We need someone who can step into an existing environment quickly, stabilize what's in place, and be the coordinating layer across vendors, staff, and stakeholders — communication and project management matter here as much as technical depth.</p>

<p><strong>What You'll Own</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Assess and stabilize the current MSP relationship, and manage it day-to-day for the contract term</li>

<li>Oversee junior IT staff's work rather than personally fielding tickets</li>

<li>Support IT operations across multiple company sites, keeping standards and service consistent wherever the business operates</li>

<li>Oversee infrastructure basics (hardware, software, networks) at an operational level, holding vendors and staff accountable for reliability and uptime</li>

<li>Manage core enterprise applications (Google Workspace, CRM, CentralReach, etc.) and keep them running smoothly day to day</li>

<li>Ensure end-user support runs smoothly through your team or vendor, stepping in on escalations rather than being first line</li>

<li>Oversee laptop and device provisioning for clinic and staff use</li>

<li>Lead IT operational project(s) to completion within the contract window</li>

<li>Build clear, effective working relationships across business and clinical teams for the duration of the engagement, communicating well with technical and non-technical audiences alike</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>5-8 years of IT operations experience, including managing an outsourced MSP relationship or vendor + junior staff — not just personally working the ticket queue</li>

<li>Experience operating IT across more than one company site or location, with a clear approach to keeping standards consistent across them</li>

<li>Track record of leading IT projects (rollouts, vendor transitions, migrations) end to end, on time and on budget</li>

<li>Comfortable managing outcomes through a vendor or team rather than doing the technical work yourself</li>

<li>Able to step into an ambiguous, existing environment quickly with minimal ramp-up time</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Prior experience in interim, fractional, or contract IT leadership roles</li>

<li>Has supported IT at a company shipping both hardware and software</li>

<li>Healthcare or another regulated-industry environment</li>

<li>Startup or fast-growth company experience, where you had to build process without much existing infrastructur</li>

<p><em>We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above.&nbsp;All full-time employee benefits include a stake in shared success through stock options, health benefits, 401(k) plan, and 4 weeks of PTO per year.</em></p>
