Senior Engineer

About the role: 

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will own the full software development lifecycle across complex, multi-realm environments. You will build and secure CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, manage identity and access, and move applications safely between staging and production environments. You will work closely with engineers and mission partners to connect separate systems into secure, scalable solutions that support the program's long-term technical strategy.   What you'll do:

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Automate configuration and deployment with Ansible and GitOps workflows
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Docker Compose
• Configure and manage Keycloak, including realm management and custom development
• Integrate systems using modern authentication standards such as OIDCManage SSL/TLS certificates and PKI across environments
• Apply and maintain STIG compliance across systems and applications
• Administer enterprise Linux systems, including partitioning, performance tuning, and Bash scripting
• Manage web services and traffic routing using Nginx as a reverse proxy
• Support AWS environments and cloud resource management
• Ingest and analyze data in enterprise monitoring tools such as Splunk
• Manage GitLab repositories, including repo mirroring across security realms
• Develop and integrate custom applications using JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and Java
• Deploy and transfer applications across multiple security realms and production and staging environments
• Support enterprise collaboration platforms such as Nextcloud

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree and 10+ years, or PhD and 6+ years. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree  
• 10+ years of software engineering experience  
• 10+ years of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience with Jenkins or similar tools  
• 10+ years of enterprise Linux systems administration experience  
• 5+ years of Bash and/or Python scripting experience  
• 2+ years of experience with SQL database access  
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Docker, Docker Compose, GitOps, and GitLab  
• Strong knowledge of SSL/TLS, PKI, STIGs, and OIDC  
• Experience configuring Keycloak, including custom development and realm management  
• Experience with Nginx, AWS, and Splunk  
• Strong architecture skills and the ability to bring separate components together into one working solution

Highly preferred:

• Experience with Nextcloud or similar enterprise collaboration platforms  
• Experience working in multi-realm or cross-domain environments  
• Experience supporting SAP or other highly controlled programs

Clearance Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start and must be maintained

Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00
