About the Team<br><br>The TESS (Transportation Execution Systems & Services) Analytics team is part of NA Transportation Services and is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, automation, and governance solutions that support transportation configuration, network planning, and operational excellence. We partner closely with TESS Program Managers, Network Planners, Operations teams, and cross-functional organizations including TITANS, SortTech, and ShipTech to drive measurable business outcomes.<br>Role Summary<br><br>We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the TESS Analytics team. In this role, you will build and maintain analytical solutions — including dashboards, reports, ETL pipelines, and automated monitoring systems — that enable TESS stakeholders to make faster, data-informed decisions. You will work directly with Program Managers and Operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics deliverables.<br><br><br>Key job responsibilities<br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>1. Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight, supporting programs such as Config Validation, Quality Metrics, Klaxon Monitoring, and Network Planning<br>2. Develop and optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs (Datanet) to transform raw data into actionable datasets<br>3. Partner with TESS Program Managers to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver analytical solutions aligned to business goals<br>4. Support the Klaxon alarm system by building and maintaining automated monitoring dashboards that detect configuration defects (e.g., missing Stacking Filters, VSM misconfigurations)<br>5. Contribute to ETL governance initiatives — inventory management, deprecation workflows, and performance optimization<br>6. Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analyses to support root cause investigations, quality misses, and operational reviews (WBR, MBR)<br>7. Maintain data quality and integrity across TESS-BI datasets through schema validation and standardization<br>8. Support on-call BI operations including data queries, logic changes, and stakeholder requests<br>9. Document analytical processes, data dictionaries, and solution designs
- 2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience<br>- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience<br>- Bachelor's degree or equivalent<br>- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights<br>- Experience with SQL or ETL<br>- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
