<p>General Summary:</p>

<p><br></p>

<p>The&nbsp;Mission Critical Quality / Commissioning&nbsp;Project Engineer&nbsp;will&nbsp;be responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;providing&nbsp;a&nbsp;high level&nbsp;of project-specific administrative support for&nbsp;the onsite&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;and Commissioning Team.&nbsp;The&nbsp;QCx&nbsp;Project Engineer will&nbsp;assist&nbsp;the onsite&nbsp;QCx&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;with the control and organization of product documentation and detailed phase-by-phase tracking.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Preferred Job Skills:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Must be able to read and interpret&nbsp;specifications,&nbsp;submittals, single-line&nbsp;diagrams&nbsp;and other contract documents.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Ability to work under pressure,&nbsp;while&nbsp;closely tracking&nbsp;QC details of multiple project activities.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Strong computer skills and familiarity with&nbsp;Construction Management software and&nbsp;Microsoft Office.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills are&nbsp;required.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on, working environment.&nbsp;</li>

<p>Responsibilities: &nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Drive a quality culture that embraces "Implement Quality from the Start" and&nbsp;coach&nbsp;continuous learning approach that improves project efficiency and quality.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Identify&nbsp;areas for improvement while implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Assist&nbsp;investigations into quality-related incidents, conduct root cause&nbsp;analyses&nbsp;and implement corrective actions,&nbsp;establishing&nbsp;preventative measures to minimize future incidents.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Manage the verification and documentation for all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment, ensuring conformance with the approved submittal while adhering to the Equipment Protection Plan.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Assist&nbsp;onsite&nbsp;QCx&nbsp;team with administrative support as needed.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Participate in&nbsp;required&nbsp;daily,&nbsp;weekly,&nbsp;and monthly meetings (i.e.,&nbsp;daily&nbsp;Cx, scheduling, coordination, pre-energization,&nbsp;and staffing meetings).&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Assist&nbsp;in the coordination of the&nbsp;First Time Energization (FTE)&nbsp;documentation&nbsp;process from start to finish.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Identifies&nbsp;potential quality issues from review of construction submittals / specifications.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Analyzes upcoming tasks and&nbsp;anticipates&nbsp;equipment installation standards, checklist&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;and training.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Conduct regular audits and assessments of processes, systems, and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Manage all project&nbsp;issue&nbsp;logs and punch lists collaborating with all affected and&nbsp;/&nbsp;or responsible parties to mitigate and drive to closure any open issues.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Audit&nbsp;Quality Reports documenting field discrepancies and audit findings while coordinating corrective actions.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Ascertain information&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;changes to regulations that could&nbsp;impact&nbsp;Mission Critical operations.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Identify&nbsp;and assess quality risks associated with Mission Critical operations.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Manage&nbsp;/&nbsp;track certain OFCI equipment while communicating status with the construction team.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Develop&nbsp;/&nbsp;conduct training&nbsp;pertaining to&nbsp;topics in relation to electrical systems, components, and/or departmental&nbsp;specific.&nbsp;</li>
