Golf Course Turf Maintenance (Seasonal)

<p>Responsibilities:</p>

<ul>

<li>Maintaining all areas of the golf course, including mowing, trimming turf, maintaining bunkers and other assigned tasks</li>

<li>Positive attitude towards your fellow turf-maintenance team members and Club members</li>

<li>Effective communication and cooperation with supervisors daily<br><br></li>

</ul>

<p>Wages &amp; Hours of Work:</p>

<ul>

<li>Earn up to $23.74/hour (base rate is $21.74/hour + 2 dollar/hour seasonal retention incentive) + benefits&nbsp;</li>

<li>Shifts start as early as 6:00 AM</li>

<li>Typical shifts involve working 5 days in a row, either from Tues - Sat OR Sun - Thurs.</li>

<li>Working 32 - 38 hours per week<br></li>

<li>This is a contract position until the end of October. Depending on the right individual, seasonal work could be extended beyond into the winter months</li>

</ul>

<p>Qualifications:</p>

<ul>

<li>Experience working outdoors (i.e. golf courses, landscaping or manual labour) is an asset</li>

<li>Previous experience using hand tools or equipment is preferred</li>

<li>Have a positive attitude and be a team player</li>

<li>Sustain prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling</li>

<li>Physically able to operate power equipment</li>

<li>Ability to occasionally lift to 50 lbs is desirable, but not essential</li>

<li>Possessing a driver’s license is preferred</li>

</ul>

<p>Additional Information:</p>

<ul>

<li>Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions</li>

<li>All on-site training provided</li>

<li>Golf shirts, work gloves, and footwear allowance provided</li>

<li>Golf can occasionally be arranged at appropriate times through a supervisor</li>
