Senior IT Project Manager

<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join Avaloq in a Senior Project Manager role, where you will get the opportunity to manage projects&nbsp;within our Product &amp; Development organization,&nbsp;supporting the build and roll-out of new product functionalities or components, to our market-leading clients.</p><p>As a key member of our Product Delivery &amp; Quality organization, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.</p><p><strong>Your key tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (regulatory and/ or innovation projects), including timelines and&nbsp;budgets, communicating with internal stakeholders (kernel development teams), Regional stakeholders, clients, etc.</li><li>Manage Scope, Risks, Issues,&nbsp;and Quality&nbsp;along the entire lifecycle and in alignment with Top Management / C-suite executives</li><li>Develop mitigation strategies to treat risks&nbsp;and resolve issues as they arise</li><li>Effectively communicate and&nbsp;provide weekly project status, progress, and potential roadblocks to Top Management / C-suite executives</li><li>Bridge the gap between product vision and delivery-oriented approach – ensuring deadlines are met according to the project timeline</li><li>Lead&nbsp;cross-divisions / cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives and milestones</li><li>Oversee project budgets, ensuring&nbsp;Estimate To Complete (ETC) are constantly reviewed according to the project progress</li><li>Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned</li><li>Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul></ul>

<ul><li>8-10&nbsp;years&nbsp;of Project Management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering complex cross-functional projects, at a senior level, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and/or BPaaS contexts</li><li>Proven track record of delivering results in a complex international and diverse environment</li><li>Strong knowledge of different project management methodologies (e.g.:&nbsp;Waterfall, Agile, etc.) and software (e.g.:&nbsp;Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.)</li><li>Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, combined with natural ability to manage stakeholders at all levels&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage risks and develop effective treatment strategies</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong experience managing end-to end execution of complex programs that span multiple and&nbsp;cross-functional&nbsp;teams through software project lifecycle</li><li>Exceptional leadership and team motivation skills</li><li>Aptitude to discuss technical details with developers and drive consensus among all stakeholders</li><li>Fluency&nbsp;in English,&nbsp;German is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>It would be a real bonus if you have</strong></p><ul><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent</li><li>Experience in leading RFI&amp;RFP processes, vendor negotiation, contracting, hiring, and managing third parties</li><li>Relevant exposure to financial services industry&nbsp;</li></ul>
