GovCIO is currently hiring for a Driver

to provide safe, reliable local transportation for international military students supporting NITC activities aboard NAS Pensacola and throughout the local area.

Responsibilities

Driving is the primary duty of this position.

Responsibilities

• Transport international military students aboard NAS Pensacola and to authorized destinations within the local area.

• Operate assigned passenger vehicles safely and in accordance with applicable laws, installation rules, and organizational procedures.

• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip checks and promptly report safety, maintenance, or vehicle-condition concerns.

• Maintain required trip, mileage, passenger, and vehicle records.

• Coordinate transportation timing and routing with authorized NITC personnel.

• Perform limited incidental administrative duties associated with transportation support, as required by the task order.

Qualifications

High school diploma - License to drive a commercial vehicle

Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required: None

Valid Florida commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement.

At least three years of experience driving in a city-traffic environment.

Experience operating passenger vans carrying up to 15 passengers.

Good driving record, with no driving-under-the-influence offenses and no moving violations during the previous 12 months.

Ability to comply with applicable driver qualification, safety, and drug-testing requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience transporting military personnel, students, or other organized groups.

Experience operating vehicles on a military installation.

Customer-service experience supporting international or culturally diverse passengers.
