<p>As the&nbsp;Senior&nbsp;Embedded&nbsp;Graphics&nbsp;Software Engineer&nbsp;at Ambiq, you will&nbsp;support&nbsp;the&nbsp;development and testing of AmbiqSuite SDK on Ambiq SoC devices and emulation platforms, focusing on the graphics processing unit (GPU) Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and the graphics stack for Ambiq’s mainstream and next-generation MCU.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This role&nbsp;works&nbsp;within our global MCU software development team and will work closely with&nbsp;more senior graphics software development team members, focusing on MCU&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;software development and test activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The successful candidate&nbsp;should be a fast-learning, result-driven, and self-motivated team player with an “always learning” mindset. He should have an inquiring spirit and be comfortable in a lab environment&nbsp;and in&nbsp;executing hands-on debugging for embedded systems.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The person in this role&nbsp;will&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;the&nbsp;current platform&nbsp;and&nbsp;extending the&nbsp;GPU&nbsp;HAL and&nbsp;software stack&nbsp;of the&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;SDK to new platforms as well as enhancing its features and content. The candidate will be involved in the extension of the SDK to cover new MCU members of the family as they become available.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<li>Collaborate&nbsp;with&nbsp;software&nbsp;senior&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;software&nbsp;developers&nbsp;to&nbsp;implement&nbsp;the&nbsp;HAL&nbsp;and&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;API&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;embedded&nbsp;GPU&nbsp;on&nbsp;Ambiq&nbsp;MCUs.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Design, implement and maintain the graphics API and the underlying graphics software stack, including&nbsp;the&nbsp;GPU&nbsp;and Display&nbsp;HAL layers.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Develop&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;example&nbsp;applications&nbsp;and&nbsp;test&nbsp;cases&nbsp;to&nbsp;demonstrate&nbsp;and&nbsp;validate&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;features.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Play&nbsp;a&nbsp;key&nbsp;role&nbsp;in&nbsp;GPU-focused&nbsp;pre-silicon&nbsp;verification&nbsp;on&nbsp;FPGA&nbsp;platforms,&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;as&nbsp;post-silicon&nbsp;bring-up,&nbsp;system&nbsp;validation,&nbsp;and&nbsp;debugging.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Provide&nbsp;support&nbsp;to&nbsp;Design&nbsp;Verification&nbsp;(DV),&nbsp;system&nbsp;validation&nbsp;teams,&nbsp;field&nbsp;engineers,&nbsp;and&nbsp;key&nbsp;customers&nbsp;as&nbsp;needed.&nbsp;</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<li>MS in ECE or Computer Science and&nbsp;4+ years of experience or BS ECE/CS with&nbsp;6+ years of&nbsp;experience.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Expertise&nbsp;in&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;one&nbsp;embedded&nbsp;GPU IP,&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;solid&nbsp;understanding&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;full&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;pipeline&nbsp;and&nbsp;hands-on&nbsp;experience&nbsp;developing&nbsp;HAL&nbsp;and&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;software&nbsp;stacks.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Experience&nbsp;with OpenGL ES&nbsp;or other 3D&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;APIs.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<li>Experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;graphics&nbsp;frameworks&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;LVGL&nbsp;is&nbsp;preferred&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<li>Experience with vector graphics acceleration or software libraries is preferred.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<li>Experience with embedded system display interfaces, such as MIPI DSI, DBI, DPI, or Memory-In-Pixel.&nbsp;</li>

<li>In-depth&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;ARM&nbsp;architecture,&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;preference&nbsp;for&nbsp;M-profile&nbsp;(Cortex-M)&nbsp;cores&nbsp;preferred.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Strong&nbsp;understanding&nbsp;of&nbsp;embedded&nbsp;RTOS&nbsp;concepts;&nbsp;experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;Zephyr&nbsp;and&nbsp;FreeRTOS&nbsp;is&nbsp;preferred.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Experience with developing embedded MCU code in C and assembly language on Arm Cortex-M Processors,&nbsp;with at least one MCU IDE from ARM, Keil, IAR, Eclipse, O-zone or&nbsp;other.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Good hands-on experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic&nbsp;analyzers&nbsp;etc. for debugging&nbsp;issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
