<p>Enchanted Medical Transport, a subsidiary of Medstar Transportation, is expanding our team and looking for dedicated drivers to help us provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation to our community.</p>

<p>SHIFTS NEEDED:</p>

<p>Full-time — open availability required; must be able to work any shift assigned.</p>

<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p>

<p>We are hiring drivers to assist with various services such as transporting patients and other clients. Medstar provides several types of contracted transportation using wheelchair-accessible vans, buses, or sedans. These may include non-emergency medical transportation, ADA paratransit, fixed-route transportation, shuttle services, Lift and ProMaster transports, cot and stretcher trips and rides with children.&nbsp;</p>

<p>REQUIREMENTS:</p>

<ul>

<li>Be over the age of 21 (licensed for at least 5 years)</li>

<li>Must have a valid Driver’s License</li>

<li>Must NOT have more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years</li>

<li>Must pass a DOT drug screening and mandatory criminal background check<br></li>

<li>Must be physically able to secure clients in wheelchairs or other devices</li>

<li>Must have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others</li>

<li>Must be available to drive varying shifts and rotational on-call duties as assigned, based on operational needs&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>

<ul>

<li>Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatch</li>

<li>Utilize a smartphone for job functions</li>

<li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness</li>

<li>Transport clients safely and securely using a company vehicle</li>

<li>Participate in rotational on-call duties</li>

<li>Perform other duties as assigned<br></li>

<p>HIRING PROCESS (GET HIRED IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS)</p>

<ol>

<li>Submit your application.</li>

<li>Receive a job shadow invitation via text, email or phone call.</li>

<li>Attend a one-hour job shadow and pass the background check.</li>

<li>Once cleared, receive a drug screening link via email.</li>

<li>Complete virtual classroom training, fingerprinting, and other paperwork.</li>

<li>Attend a 4- to 5-day PAID in-vehicle training with a trainer in your assigned area.</li>

<li>Get signed off and start driving!<br><br></li>
