We are going to Mars and beyond...join us in the journey!<br><br>The Asset Specialist duties include receiving, processing, stocking, issuing, kitting, moving, transporting and expediting of production property and equipment, replenishment of required tooling and consumable operating supplies for the production work areas. The job requires accurate updates of system records and manual records indicating the correct inventory levels of each material.</p><h2>Standard Job Description</h2>

<p><strong>Principal Duties:</strong></p><p>1. Receive, ship, process, issue, store, kit, move, transport, expedite, maintain and transfer&nbsp;material, inventory, special tools, special test equipment, standard tools, and factory and&nbsp;general supplies utilizing sophisticated integrated computer systems and executing&nbsp;appropriate documents.</p><p>2. Expedite assets to ensure timely delivery to point of use part bank or floor work location.</p><p>3. Perform a variety of tasks (such as processing paperwork, moving critical hardware,maintaining movement records, performing data verification and take appropriate actions,&nbsp;and researching general problems) to support immediate work area, tool cribs, quality,metrology, stock rooms, receiving dock, warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, and test&nbsp;areas.</p><p>4. Assist in providing guidance, follow-up, and assistance to new and less senior personnel.</p><p>5. Load, unload, move, and deliver assets using light duty material handling equipment, hand</p><p>delivery, light duty vehicle (i.e. single person lift, vans, pickup truck, conveyor, motorized</p><p>hand walkie trucks, and motorized hand walkie stackers) in support of assigned duties.</p><p>6. Perform follow-up assignments of a routine nature.</p><p>7. Maintain computer and manual records on assets and prepare basic reports reflecting&nbsp;information such as adjustments, discrepancy and other process-related data.</p><p>8. Perform duties in an accurate manner so that data integrity and asset record accuracy is&nbsp;maintained at prescribed procedural levels.</p><p>9. Works from written and verbal instructions to cut and saw raw materials.</p><p>10. Tool Cribs and Equipment Banks are controlled areas, which may contain Standard Tools,&nbsp;Special Tooling/Special Test Equipment, Lockheed Martin Expense items, and Capital</p><p>Equipment. The aforementioned property is stocked and must be issued and received using&nbsp;SAP or an equivalent accountability system. Identify assets due for calibration and&nbsp;communicate calibration requirements to internal customers/ loanees.</p><p>11. Assist in ensuring that adequate inventories are sustained in work areas utilizing tracking or&nbsp;other asset accountability and positioning technologies as required.</p><p>12. Reboot Vertical Lift Machines and Carousels to maintain serviceability i.e., reference&nbsp;and/or manual resetting of material storage machinery.</p><p>13. Comply with company and governmental processes and procedures to properly&nbsp;receive hazardous materials and adhere to all international and classified material&nbsp;requirements. Identify Non-Receivable Inventory (NRI) and forward it to the&nbsp;procurement team for proper processing.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<p>• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.<br>• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.<br>• Knowledgeable and experience of inventory storage and retrieval systems.</p><p>• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs., stand for 9 hours per day, operate material handling equipment i.e. tran-stacker, reach trucks, powered aerial lift devices, pallet jacks, drive a van or truck and climb up and down ladders and stairs.</p><p>• Must be willing and able to work alternate shifts, non-standard work schedules, and extended hours as required.<br>• Excellent customer service skills.</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<p>• Currently possess DoD Secret Security Clearance<br>• Ability to operate handheld scanners<br>• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite<br>• Proficient using SAP/ERP systems<br>• Familiar with manufacturing and testing operations.<br>• Proficient in equipment calibration recall processes, as well as tooling applications</p><p><strong>Pay Information&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>$24.34 - $40.68</li></ul><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
