Specialized Experience (SE) GS-11: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-9 grade level. SE is defined as follows: Experience reading and interpreting design and construction documents. Experience with construction/facility project management pertaining to the design, construction, build out, cost, schedule, and risk analysis for commercial real property facilities. Experience researching, reviewing, and making recommendations on highly complex and difficult real property/office type management matters, to include recommendations affecting both monetary considerations and project schedule and direction. Experience coordinating and directing service programs (IT, furniture, cabling, data, security) concerning the acquisition, construction, renovation, repair, or improvement of office spaces, as well as office relocations. Experience making immediate decisions affecting both monetary considerations and project schedule and direction. GS-12: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. SE, in addition to the above, is defined as follows: Experience conducting detailed surveys and analyzing the results to determine the feasibility of proceeding with the project. Experience evaluating costs and scope of work proposals, with statistical practices, submitted by lessors or construction contractors to ensure estimates are reasonable and scope appropriate. Experience initiating, developing, planning, and participating in training seminars. GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE, in addition to the above, is defined as follows: Experience developing and/or participating in producing and reviewing functional floor plans incorporating highly specialized space, security, utility, and other requirements and/or serving as an advisor to architectural/engineering firms for the preparation of such plans.
