Assistant General Manager

<p>The Assistant Manager will establish and implement short and long-range objectives for the assigned departments, oversee related staff functions and activities, and administer company policies and procedures.</p><p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Oversee hiring and training new staff and assist the General Manager with this process.</li><li>Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of subordinate staff.</li><li>Assist in providing a safe, clean, well-maintained environment.</li><li>Troubleshoot physical plant issues.</li><li>Support the sales team and achieving or exceeding new membership sales goals.</li><li>Organizing a variety of events including but not limited to membership appreciation.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in related field required.</li><li>Two years of related experience in the industry required.</li><li>Knowledge of the philosophy, mission, leadership, and planning needs of the organization preferred.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Well organized, resourceful, strong attention to detail and a skill for multi-tasking.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.</li><li>Strong customer service experience.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li></ul>
