<p>Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles &amp; Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) for a position based out of Orlando, FL. This program is a fast-paced development environment requiring technical acumen and critical thinking.<br><br><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong><br>Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<br>• Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.<br>• Supports Integrated Product Teams and various production sites with reviews of quality data on failures, yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.<br>• Ability to analyze and resolve design, manufacturing, and process issues varying from basic to very complex and technically challenging.<br>• Attending program corrective action meetings, identifying trends, assisting in problem resolution and ensuring responsible parties meet requirements and commitments.<br>• Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.<br>• Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001 / AS9100.<br>• Evaluating the design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality.<br>• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues.<br>• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.<br>• Making the final decision on acceptability of product.<br>• Supporting Quality operations within a Lab Environment in which products are being manufactured, tested, and delivered to end customers. <br><br><strong> Why Join us </strong><br>Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? <p>STEM degree at the bachelors level or higher, preferably in a Technical, Industrial or Quality Assurance related field or equivalent experience/education<br><br>Must be able obtain a Secret level security clearance<br><br>Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products<br><br>An understanding of engineering drawings requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods<br><br>Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics<br><br>Demonstrated ability to use casual analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex<br><br>Experience in dispositioning of non-conforming products<br><br>Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management<br><br>Ability to travel 25%-50%</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<p>Awareness of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T)<br><br>Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)<br><br>ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)<br><br>Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems<br><br>Demonstrated team leadership skills<br><br>Customer Relationship Management skills<br><br>Experience working with Government customers<br>Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.<br><br>Demonstrated presentation skills<br><br>Effective interpersonal skills including team building and collaboration<br><br>Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening and technical writing<br><br>Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment</p><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p>Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00</p><p>At &nbsp;Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
