<p>Electrical Engineering Technician / QA <br>Location: Project Site/Whiteriver AZ<br>Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site </p>
<p><br>Position Summary <br>The Electrical Engineering Technician/QA provides technical support during construction through review <br>of electrical designs, contractor submittals, shop drawings, and installation activities. The selected <br>individual will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are installed in <br>accordance with approved documents and project requirements. </p>
<p><br>The role combines aspects of a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, and Quality Assurance Inspector. </p>
<p>Any prior experience working with Hospitals or Healthcare institutions is strongly preferred </p>
<p><br>Primary Responsibilities </p>
<p><br>Technical Review <br>● Review electrical drawings and specifications for constructability and coordination. <br>● Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, product data, calculations, and equipment <br>packages. <br>● Review Requests for Information and provide technical recommendations. <br>● Assess proposed equipment substitutions for compliance. <br>● Review testing and commissioning procedures. </p>
<p><br>Construction Support <br>● Participate in design coordination meetings. <br>● Support installation planning activities. <br>● Monitor contractor compliance with approved submittals. <br>● Assist with startup and energization planning. </p>
<p><br>Quality Assurance <br>● Conduct periodic field inspections of electrical installations. <br>● Verify installation of conduit systems, cable trays, switchgear, transformers, motors, controls, and <br>instrumentation. <br>● Review contractor testing documentation. <br>● Track deficiencies and support closeout inspections. </p>
<p><br>Minimum Qualifications <br>● Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. <br>● Minimum five years of experience supporting industrial, utility, manufacturing, federal, or heavy <br>commercial construction projects. <br>● Experience reviewing electrical equipment submittals and technical documentation. <br>● Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, medium-voltage distribution systems, motor <br>control centers, and industrial control systems. </p>
<p><br>Nice To Have<br>● EIT Certification <br>● OSHA 30 <br>● USACE CQM Certification <br>● Experience supporting Hospitals or Healthcare institutions/facilities </p>
