<p>What you'll do:&nbsp;</p>

<p>Farm planning &amp; consulting</p>

<ul>

<li>Develop and present customized Farm Plans focused on improving crop production efficiency and profitability</li>

<li>Analyze past product performance, seed selection, fertility practices, crop methods, and grower challenges to forecast outcomes</li>

<li>Make recommendations on seed type, crop rotations, fertilizer, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides</li>

<li>Conduct ongoing in-field analysis and communicate findings clearly to producers</li>

<li>Address and resolve potential misapplication or underperformance issues with growers</li>

</ul>

<p>Sales &amp; customer growth</p>

<ul>

<li>Finalize sales of the whole-farm philosophy including products and services</li>

<li>Grow and maintain the agronomy customer base; maintain field presence from planting through harvest</li>

<li>Promote cooperative business and marketing plans set forth by the VP of Agronomy</li>

<li>Proactively implement prepayment plans for seed, fertilizer, chemicals, and services; coordinate with accounting to finalize billing arrangements</li>

<li>Resolve billing or contractual disputes as needed</li>

</ul>

<p>Operations &amp; logistics</p>

<ul>

<li>Assist in planning logistics to move products and services from vendor to locations or custom farmgate</li>

<li>Develop accurate field boundaries and create work orders using specialized software reflecting products, totals, field instructions, and billing</li>

<li>Coordinate with dispatchers, operations, and accounting to ensure timely and accurate product application</li>

<li>Collaborate with AG Advisors and Location Managers to coordinate services, equipment, spray orders, and staff=<br></li>

<p>What we are looking for:&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field, or minimum 3 years of agronomy/agronomy sales experience</li>

<li>Knowledge of soil fertility, fertilizer and chemical properties, seed traits, crop life cycles, and agricultural chemistry</li>

<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office, internet-based programs, and agronomy software</li>

<li>Ability to operate company vehicles, forklifts, skid-loaders, blending systems, and hand tools</li>

<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to speak effectively one-on-one and in group settings</li>

<li>Basic math skills including algebra, geometry, proportions, percentages, and volume</li>

<li>Preferred: CDL Class B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, forklift certification, and current CCA license</li>

<li>Ability to travel within the trade territory<br></li>
