<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>

<ul>

<li>

<ul>

<li>Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer</li>

<li>Installs trench boxes as necessary</li>

<li>Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures</li>

<li>Ensure proper excavation &amp; compaction procedures are performed</li>

<li>Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections &amp; grease equipment at required intervals</li>

<li>Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities</li>

<li>Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job</li>

<li>Manage quality control and production</li>

<li>Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>

<li>Must be able to communicate directly with clients&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>

<li>1 year of experience or more with wet utility&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>

<li>Must be able to operate large excavators with precision&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Employee must be physically fit to perform duties of the job in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling (up to 50 lbs.).</li>

<li>Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.</li>

<li>Other physical requirements include walking, climbing, balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending or crawling.</li>

<li>Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.</li>
