Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Directing complex, enterprise-level programs that involve strategic planning, policy development, and the implementation of initiatives to improve workforce resilience, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Exercising full managerial authority over a diverse staff, including setting performance standards, resolving complex grievances, and ensuring the equitable application of personnel policies, training, and career development plans. Providing expert-level advice and recommendations to senior executive leadership regarding program operations, policy interpretation, and the resolution of sensitive organizational issues that impact mission execution. Analyzing complex data, research, and validated studies to identify trends and develop evidence-based solutions that address organizational stressors and improve the overall well-being of a large, geographically dispersed workforce. Coordinating cross-functional efforts across multiple organizational components or external agencies to ensure the successful implementation of large-scale projects and compliance with federal, DHS, and CBP regulations.
