<p>Internal Position Title: Homeownership Loan Processor and Servicing Specialist<br>Pay Range: $24.04–$31.25 per hour, DOE (Extra 5% bilingual differential for Spanish speakers) <br>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt<br>Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility<br>Location: Remote/Hybrid, based out of our Springfield, OR office<br>Position Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term — currently funded for two years<br>Reports to: Executive Director of Homeownership</p>

<p>We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Loan Processor and Servicing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure that loans move smoothly from application through funding and servicing.</p>

<p>What You'll Do</p>
<p>You'll support the processing, funding, and servicing of residential mortgage and silent second loans through DevNW's Wildfire, Down Payment Assistance, and Amplify Oregon Mortgage programs.</p>
<p>Your work will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Reviewing loan files to make sure they are complete, accurate, and meet program requirements.</li>
<li>Collecting and verifying borrower and loan information.</li>
<li>Identifying missing or incorrect information and following up as needed.</li>
<li>Supporting Loan Officers and Mortgage Loan Originators throughout the loan process.</li>
<li>Ordering and coordinating third-party services, such as appraisals and employment verifications.</li>
<li>Entering and maintaining loan information in loan servicing systems.</li>
<li>Managing loan documentation, payment information, escrow records, payoffs, and borrower correspondence.</li>
<li>Researching and resolving discrepancies in loan and servicing records.</li>
<li>Maintaining organized and accurate electronic and physical files.</li>
<li>Supporting quality control reviews, audits, and other compliance activities.</li>
<li>Working closely with Finance, Underwriting, program staff, and other internal teams.</li>
<li>Protecting the confidentiality and security of borrower information.</li>
<li>Providing general administrative and operational support to the Homeownership team.<br><br></li>
</ul>
<p>What We're Looking For</p>
<p>We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with detailed financial information.</p>
<p>You may be a great fit if you have:</p>
<ul>
<li>At least two years of administrative experience. Experience in loan processing or loan servicing is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working with databases, loan systems, or other data management platforms.</li>
<li>Experience reviewing and maintaining detailed files and documentation.</li>
<li>Familiarity with mortgage lending, loan documentation, or loan servicing.</li>
<li>Experience reviewing income, assets, credit, or collateral documentation.</li>
<li>Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.</li>
<li>The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Clear written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>The ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.</li>
</ul>
<p>An associate degree or coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.<br><br></p>
<p>Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.</p>

<p>Work Environment<br>This is a remote/hybrid position with schedule flexibility and weekly in-person workdays at our Springfield office. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer and may occasionally require lifting up to 10 pounds.</p>
