And we’re just getting started!<br>Join us as a <strong>Platform Engineer to join our dynamic Data Storage team</strong>. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of database technologies such as Postgres, MongoDB, ClickHouse, etc., and a strong curiosity to learn how to manage and automate large-scale infrastructure in a distributed system environment.

Your Impact at Brevo:

<li>Design and implement data storage solutions that meet the performance, reliability, security, and scalability requirements of our software products, using automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.</li>

<li>Perform installation, configuration, parameter tuning, and monitoring of database technologies using automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.</li>

<li>Monitor and optimise performance to ensure high availability and reliability.</li>

<li>Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity.</li>

<li>Collaborate with internal teams to understand hosting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.</li>

<li>Participate in automation for deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.</li>

<li>Help diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal service disruption.</li>

<li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and procedures.</li>

<li><strong>Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely incident response and support for production database environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact.</strong></li>

Who you are:

<li><strong>Experience between 4-8 years</strong></li>

<li><strong>Must have</strong>&nbsp;good knowledge of Linux.</li>

<li><strong>Must be</strong>&nbsp;well-versed in managing any of the data engines: NoSQL, SQL, RDBMS, Object Storage, File Storage (i.e. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse, ScyllaDB, Minio, etc.)</li>

<li>Must have a strong&nbsp;<strong>understanding of data backup and disaster recovery best practices and methodologies.</strong></li>

<li>Must have good knowledge of&nbsp;<strong>Ansible, Bash or Terraform for automation tasks.</strong></li>

<li>Must possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills,&nbsp;<strong>with the ability to analyse complex storage issues and develop effective solutions.</strong></li>

<li><strong>Must be comfortable participating in on-call rotations</strong>, taking ownership of production incidents, and responding to critical database issues promptly outside of regular working hours.</li>
