Project Manager, Civil Engineer

<p>Byrne &amp; Jones is looking for a Project Manager, Engineer to lead civil design efforts for sports, parks, and site development projects. This role combines hands-on engineering, design review, and leadership while working closely with clients, agencies, and internal teams.<br></p>

<p>What You’ll Do:</p>

<ul>

<li>Lead, design, and review civil designs (grading, drainage, stormwater, turf-base&nbsp;systems)</li>

<li>Collaborate with estimating, project management, and sales teams, attending client hand-off meetings and providing ongoing project support</li>

<li>Provide QA/QC for work produced by Civil Designers and Project Engineers</li>

<li>Ensure designs meet municipal, state, and agency standards (AHJs, MODNR, USACE, etc.)</li>

<li>Mentor, train, and support engineering staff</li>

<li>Prepare and review permit submittals and coordinate approvals</li>

<li>Attend client and municipal meetings</li>

<li>Help manage workloads and support smooth handoff to construction</li>

</ul>

<p>What We're Looking For:</p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)</li>

<li>Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred</li>

<li>5+ years of civil engineering experience (site design and project coordination)</li>

<li>Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D</li>

<li>Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater design</li>

<li>Sports/parks experience and Midwest standards knowledge are a plus</li>

</ul>

<p>Work Environment/Physical Requirements:</p>

<li>Ability to perform essential job functions while working at a computer for&nbsp;<br>extended periods of time</li>

<li>Ability to visit construction sites and navigate uneven terrain with PPE</li>

<li>Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.<br></li>
