<p>Hours:&nbsp;Part Time&nbsp; / Full Time</p>

<p>Salary: £13.00 per hour</p>

<p>Job Purpose: To provide excellent customer service across the week through delivering high quality coffee and delicious in-house made baked goods.&nbsp;</p>

<p>CAFÉ TEAM MEMBER ROLE SPECIFICATION:&nbsp;</p>

<li>Willing to develop to Barista level&nbsp;</li>

<li>Food preparation&nbsp;</li>

<li>Consistently providing a high quality of service and products for all customers by closely following café recipes and procedures</li>

<li>£13.00 per hour</li>

<li>Customer Service &amp; Experience

<ul>

<li>Be the friendly face of our café—always greet customers with a smile.</li>

<li>Welcome and connect with every customer, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.</li>

<li>Provide excellent customer service by being approachable, attentive, and helpful.</li>

<li>Maintain a calm and positive attitude, even during busy periods.</li>

<li>Assist customers with their choices by sharing knowledge of food and drinks.</li>

<li>Respond to customer needs, including explaining any service delays.</li>

<li>Go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.</li>

</ul>

Food &amp; Beverage Preparation

<ul>

<li>Assist in preparing a variety of food, snacks, and drinks to high-quality standards.</li>

<li>Ensure food presentation is attractive and meets our quality expectations.</li>

<li>Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and service areas.</li>

<li>Strictly follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.</li>

</ul>

Café Operations &amp; Efficiency

<ul>

<li>Keep service counters well-stocked, clean, and organized.</li>

<li>Ensure the café floor, service area, and stockroom are always tidy and efficient.</li>

<li>Follow café policies for merchandising, ordering, restocking, rotating, and storing products.</li>

<li>Assist with general cleaning duties in all areas of operation.</li>

<li>Work efficiently as part of a team to maintain smooth service, especially during peak hours.</li>

<li>Be willing to undertake back-of-house tasks at the request of the Café Manager.</li>

</ul>

Sales &amp; Stock Handling

<ul>

<li>Accurately process transactions when required.</li>

<li>Assist with restocking café supplies and maintaining inventory levels.</li>

<li>Actively engage with customers to promote sales and new menu items.</li>

</ul>

Opening, Closing &amp; Safety Procedures

<ul>

<li>Learn and confidently perform opening and closing duties.</li>

<li>Adhere to all health and safety procedures, both when supervised and when working independently in the Café Manager’s absence.</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with risk assessments and hygiene protocols.</li>

</ul>

<p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;<br><br></p>

<p>NECESSARY:</p>

<ul>

<li>At least 1 year's serving experience in a cafe or restaurant</li>

<li>Strong hospitality and customer service skills</li>

<li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</li>

<li>Positive attitude and proactive approach in the workplace</li>

<li>Committed to delivering great customer experience</li>

<li>Willingness to switch between roles including food prep, cleaning, till service, and drinks</li>

<li>Open to work weekends and be flexible with changing schedules</li>

<li>Strong teamwork and communication skills</li>

<li>Ability to maintain a professional attitude and uphold high standards</li>

<li>Desire to contribute to the café’s growth and success<br></li>
