AI/ML Engineer

<p><strong>*Position is contingent upon contract award*</strong></p><p>SOSi is seeking an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (Al/ML) Engineer. The AI/ML Engineer shall design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy Al/ML models and ensembles across various domains, including generative Al, classification, prediction, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning. Al/ML engineering services will be provided to support Sponsor's initiatives, leveraging expertise in Al/ML algorithms, software development, and cloud computing.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Design&nbsp;and develop&nbsp;Al/ML models and ensembles using Sponsor's data and requirements.</li><li>Preprocess, clean, and analyze&nbsp;large volumes of structured and unstructured Sponsor data to assess utility for Al model training and testing.</li><li>Collaborate&nbsp;with staff officers to conceptualize, design, develop, and execute experiments verifying model performance and system soundness.</li><li>Deploy&nbsp;and maintain&nbsp;Al/ML models and ensembles in cloud-based environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.</li><li>Develop&nbsp;and maintain&nbsp;extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines, SQL configurations, and</li><li>performance metrics to support Al/ML applications.</li><li>Document&nbsp;and communicate methods and findings using Sponsor's formats and templates, which could include authoring analytic publications, producing ad-hoc reports, creating data visualizations, delivering slideshow presentations or briefings, or documenting methods in GitHub repositories.</li><li>Provide&nbsp;technical education to staff on an ad-hoc basis on AI/ML related topics.</li><li>Provide&nbsp;subject matter expertise in Al/ML to support Sponsor's initiatives.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Active Top Secret Clearance.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated professional experience with the following required tools, systems, services, and data types:<ul><li>Python or R programming languages for AI/ML development.</li><li>Deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.</li><li>Version control systems, such as GitHub.</li><li>Cloud computing services from major providers, including experience with cloud-based AI/ML development and deployment.</li><li>AI/ML model development and deployment, including model turning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarking.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with AI/ML model explainability and interpretability techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with Sponsor’s enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices.</li><li>Experience with front-end web development frameworks, such as Flask.</li><li>Experience with Tableau to produce visualizations and dashboards.</li><li>Experience with verification and validation test benches.</li></ul>
