Sr. Systems Engineer

<p>SOSi is seeking a <strong>Senior Systems Engineer</strong> to support operations and sustainment of a mission-critical enterprise application supporting federal business operations.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership supporting production operations, infrastructure integration, database technologies, release management, and enterprise system performance within a large IBM mainframe environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Support IBM z/OS production environments.</li><li>Maintain and support IDMS database environments.</li><li>Support production deployments and release activities.</li><li>Troubleshoot system performance issues and production incidents.</li><li>Support configuration management and technical documentation.</li><li>Coordinate system changes across technical teams.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.</li><li>10+ years supporting enterprise systems.</li><li>Experience supporting mission-critical production operations.</li><li>Strong IBM mainframe experience.</li><li>IBM z/OS,&nbsp;IDMS, Oracle,&nbsp;Cognos,&nbsp;Broadcom Endevor,&nbsp;Production Operations,&nbsp;System Integration.</li><li>Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Large-scale financial or ERP systems.</li><li>Federal enterprise environments.</li></ul>
