Residential Group Home Manager

<p>A <u><strong>House Manager </strong></u>is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the daily operations of a program or programs. &nbsp;The two priority areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training of staff and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. The House Manager will manage a single residential program in New Jersey.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Duties include but are not limited to:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Monitor, coordinate and assure all services to the individual are delivered, communicated and coordinated on a daily basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide daily supervision and oversight of all staff, at each location.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and assure that daily health care and nutritional needs are met. &nbsp;</li><li>Assure the coordination and communication of changes in services, hospitalizations and other issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and manage the cleanliness, organization and upkeep of the home and vehicle. &nbsp;</li><li>Assure compliance with emergency procedure requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Promote a positive cooperative relationship with team members, vendors, neighbors, law enforcement and emergency personnel.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and assure all budgeting and spending accounts are managed, collected and reported as required.&nbsp;</li></ul>

<p><strong><u>What Makes You A Great Fit:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Two-year degree in related social services field and/or two years of experience in IDD (Intellectual/Developmental Disability) field. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and supervisory experience preferred. &nbsp;</li><li>Person-centered, patient, and kind&nbsp;</li><li>Dependable, adaptable, flexible&nbsp;</li><li>Observant and detail oriented &nbsp;</li><li>Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team&nbsp;</li><li>Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment&nbsp;</li><li>Computer skills for documentation &nbsp;</li><li>Valid Drivers License (due to transporting persons served)&nbsp;</li><li>Some positions / locations may require own personal vehicle and auto-liability insurance based on the role&nbsp;</li><li>A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process&nbsp;</li><li>Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.&nbsp;</li></ul>
