Chief MS&A Engineer

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Chief Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) Engineer to lead our engineering efforts in either Dayton Ohio, Aurora Colorado, or Huntsville Alabama.

Responsibilities

<p>Serve&nbsp;as the&nbsp;Lead MS&amp;A Engineer&nbsp;responsible for defining the technical strategy, architecture, and analytical approach for&nbsp;simulation and&nbsp;mission engineering activities.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams of systems engineers, modeling and simulation engineers, software engineers, and mission analysts.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Develop technical roadmaps and&nbsp;establish&nbsp;MS&amp;A priorities based on mission&nbsp;objectives, customer requirements, and program decision needs.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Present analytical results, technical findings, trade studies, and recommendations to Government customers and program leadership.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Establish&nbsp;MS&amp;A best practices, including&nbsp;modeling priorities, analytical workflows,&nbsp;required&nbsp;tools, data, and enabling technologies.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Develop integrated MS&amp;A workflows that connect system and subsystem models to evaluate end-to-end mission performance and system effectiveness.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Develop automated analytical workflows for scenario generation, model execution, data processing, optimization, visualization, and results assessment.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Apply&nbsp;tools including&nbsp;Ansys STK,&nbsp;Ansys Fluent,&nbsp;ModelCenter, Cameo Systems Modeler, MATLAB/Simulink, and other Government and commercial modeling and simulation tools.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<li>

<p>Lead development of&nbsp;mission-level and system-level models&nbsp;and simulations supporting missile, space, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), and advanced weapon-system analysis.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Develop and integrate models supporting missile trajectories, engagement geometries, orbital mechanics, sensor performance, RF propagation, communications, EW, threat representation, and mission effectiveness.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Develop analytical mission threads addressing detection, tracking, targeting, engagement, intercept, battle management, and mission assessment.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models across domains including propulsion, guidance/navigation/control, aerodynamics, RF, radar, EO/IR, communications, EW, thermal, structures, and space systems.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<li>

<p>Lead&nbsp;digital engineering activities&nbsp;in coordination with&nbsp;partner SMEs&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Lead trade-space exploration, sensitivity analysis, optimization, Monte Carlo analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE) to evaluate alternative system architectures, technologies, and mission concepts.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<li>

<p>Lead verification and validation of models and analytical workflows to ensure results are technically credible, repeatable, and suitable for engineering decision-making.&nbsp;</p>

</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Oversee&nbsp;a multi-tenanted&nbsp;digital engineering environment&nbsp;which integrates multiple COTS&nbsp;&amp; GOTS&nbsp;modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.</p></li></ul>
