If you’re looking to be a part of a passionate team solving these complex problems, then Rotary and Mission Systems is the place for you.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Work</strong><br>Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a full-time Computing Systems/Software Senior Engineer for their Infrastructure, Communications, & Network Engineering team to support multiple Mission Integrated Command & Control (MIC2) Lines of Business (LOB) programs. <p>• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computing & Informatics or related technical degree<br>• 5 years experience as a software and/or systems engineer working on paper-to-product software solutions with delivery in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment<br>• Experience with Linux (preferably RedHat) or experience with network device configuration<br>• 1-2 years experience as a mid-senior software engineer troubleshooting, debugging, and configuring software products in a lab test environment<br>• Demonstrated ability to plan and complete engineering tasks within constraints while exemplifying a full spectrum leadership growth mindset to lead other engineers, whether peers or juniors, in a technical task<br>• Demonstrated ability to prepare engineering documentation, e.g., specifications, test plans, test procedures, test results as well as conduct technical briefings and design reviews<br>• Experience with developing technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity<br>• Must be willing to work onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ<br>• Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites<br>• Ability to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. U.S. Citizenshiip required</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>
<p>• Experience with Software lifecycle development, various Programming Languages (C++, Java) and unit testing<br>• Experience with Ansible or other automation tools<br>• Experience with containerization, virtualization, and/or service orchestration (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker, Podman)<br>• Understanding of messaging and network protocols such as Data Distribution Service (DDS), HTTP/S, TCP/IP, DNS, Kafka<br>• Experience with Open DDS, RTI DDS, DDS Secure - middleware messaging protocols and debugging with COTS products such as Wireshark<br>• Relevant certifications per Job Description and Basic Qualifications list<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment</p><p><strong>Pay Information </strong></p><ul><li>$91000.00 - $181113.00</li></ul><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.</li><li>For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
