<p><strong>Cochran’s Union, Missouri&nbsp;</strong>headquarters’<strong> </strong>location, is looking for a <strong>Project Engineer- Water/Wastewater Division</strong> to join our team.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br>We are seeking a <strong>Project Engineer</strong> with experience in <strong>water and wastewater</strong> infrastructure projects to join our team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in design and project coordination, holds an <strong>EIT certification</strong>, and is either actively pursuing or recently earned their <strong>Professional Engineer (PE) license</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Support and lead water/wastewater engineering projects from planning and design through construction</li>

<li>Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design plans, and specifications</li>

<li>Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination</li>

<li>Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed</li>

<li>Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations</li>

<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff</li>

<li>Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and contractor inquiries during construction</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering</li>

<li>EIT certification required</li>

<li>PE license preferred, or actively pursuing PE licensure</li>

<li>3–6 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater design and construction</li>

<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other relevant design software</li>

<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>

<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Municipal or utility client experience</li>

<li>Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory agencies (e.g., EPA, DNR)</li>

<li>Hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD)</li>
