Full Stack Developer (IT-PW-IAM-2026-221-GRAE)

Join the team behind CERN's Identity and Account Management services, which enable thousands of scientists and staff to securely access the tools they need every day to push the boundaries of research.</p><p>Your role will encompass feature design and development (.NET, ReactJS) and service and user support (upgrades, advanced integration support, business continuity). During the contract you will have the opportunity to grow into a service manager role, taking increasing ownership of stakeholder management and contributing to the service roadmap.</p><p>The specific services in scope of this role are: Group Management, Account Management, Digital Resource Eligibility and Lifecycle Management.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Feature development and bug fixes.</li><li>Contribution to the technical evolution of services.</li><li>Advanced user support, including in person consultations with service managers around CERN.</li></ul><p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with full-stack software development in .NET, ReactJS.</li><li>Experience with version control systems and CI/CD workflows.</li><li>Experience in using OAuth, OIDC or SAML protocols.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of Openshift or Kubernetes is an advantage.</li></ul><p><u>Skills:</u></p><ul><li>Software development.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Collaborative user support.</li><li>Communication, working in teams.</li><li>Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.</li></ul><p><u>Eligibility criteria:</u></p><ul><li>You are a national of a <a href="https://home.cern/about/member-states" rel="noopener noreferrer">CERN Member or Associate Member State</a>.</li><li><strong><u>By the application deadline,</u></strong> you have a <strong>maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation</strong> in Computer Science or Equivalent (or a related field) <strong><u>and</u> your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree</strong>.</li><li>You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.</li><li>Applicants without University degree are not eligible.</li><li>Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.</li></ul>
