<p>Position Statement:</p>

<p>Cleans hotel front and back of the house, including corridors, stairwell and guestrooms.&nbsp; Transports laundry from housekeeping department to the designated floors and vice versa.</p>

<p>Position Summary:</p>

<ul>

<li><br>To assist with the general cleaning of guestrooms, hallways and linen room to the established standards and expediting of guest requests, while complying with safety and security procedure.<br></li>

<li><br>Assist the room attendant to thoroughly clean and restock guestrooms.</li>

<li><br>Empty all trash receptacles/ash urns in hallways.</li>

<li><br>Remove all garbage from floor and dispose of according to standards.</li>

<li><br>Ensure that windows and sliding doors are cleaned daily.</li>

<li><br>Clean walls, doors, mirrors, consoles and artifacts in the corridor daily.</li>

<li><br>Clean elevator frames and tracks daily.</li>

<li><br>Vacuum corridors at the beginning and end of each shift.</li>

<li><br>Remove boxes and all debris from the corridors daily. Assist with removal of trays.</li>

<li><br>Collect soiled linen from maids’ carts and dispose of same to established standards.</li>

<li><br>Scrub and mop floors, clean outside air vents, wall woodwork and exit stairwells.</li>

<li><br>Mop balcony and clean railing and louvers.</li>

<li><br>Assist Room Attendants with the removal of heavy furniture and equipment.</li>

<li><br>Assist in keeping all storage and linen rooms clean. </li>

<li><br>Ensure that linen room is stocked with linen and amenities to the established standards.</li>

<li><br>Assist with linen inventory as requested.</li>

<li><br>Assist Room Attendant in cleaning rooms in emergencies.</li>

<li><br>Assist to replace light bulbs that are within reach in guest rooms and corridors when necessary.</li>

<li><br>Maintain and care for all tools and equipment.</li>

<li><br>Report any room or corridor deficiencies, malfunctioning equipment and potential hazards to the Call Center and the Director of Housekeeping and Public Areas. </li>

<li><br>Remove room service trays and debris in corridor and place in elevator landing areas as necessary.</li>

<li><br>Deliver guest requested items (bed boards, roll-a ways, hair dryer, cribs, robes, etc.) as requested and within established time frames.</li>

<li><br>Have sound knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel. </li>

<li><br>Clean and disinfect emergency stairwells (stairs and rails) daily.</li>

<li><br>Utilize all communication devices provided by the company in the execution of all tasks, reporting any deficiencies or defects to the same.</li>

<li><br>Follow and enforce health, welfare and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests and fellow team members.</li>

<li><br>Work all AM, PM, and graveyard shifts as scheduled. <br></li>

<li><br>Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment such as masks or gloves from time to time as directed by Goldwynn. </li>
