<h2>Standard Job Description</h2>

<p><strong>Weekend Shift</strong></p><p>You will be the CNC Machinist / GD&amp;T for the Machining Operations Center (MOC). Our team is responsible for ultra‑precision machining, paint and plate operations, precision assembly, and the development and production of complex machined components.</p><p><em><br><br><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong><br></em></p><p>As the CNC Machinist / GD&amp;T you will set up and operate a variety of manual, CNC and grinding machines, interpret blueprints (including GD&amp;T), and fabricate complex parts to exacting tolerances. You will also suggest producibility improvements, calibrate tools, and ensure every component meets specifications.</p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Set up and run manual and CNC machines for drilling, boring, milling, and turning of metal, exotic non‑metallic and composite materials.</li><li>Operate grinding equipment to form, sharpen and finish cutters, drills and other tooling.</li><li>Read and apply engineering drawings, GD&amp;T, and specifications to fabricate complex parts.</li><li>Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMMs) to verify dimensions and surface finish.</li><li>Propose design or process changes that enhance manufacturability and reduce cycle time.</li></ul><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<p>• Experience with precision machining, measuring, and set up skills on Manual and N/C (Numerical Control) machine tools.<br>• Experience with one or more of the following:<br>-interpretation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T)<br>-American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and military specifications.<br>• Must have the ability to work first, second, or third shift in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.<br>• Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be U.S. citizens</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<table><tbody><tr><td>• At least 3 years' related experience<br>• Technical training, recognized journeyman apprenticeship, programming and more than 7 years experience in setting up, operating and N/C programming.<br>Specifically:<br>Precision multi (4-5) axis Millturn<br>Precision multi (4-5) axis Milling<br>Jig Bore<br>Integrex Mazak Millturn<br>Fanuc controls<br>Mazak controls<br>• Experience with ID/OD grinding and / or centerless grinding and the ability to hold close tolerances.<br>• Set up and operation of various types grinding machines to form, sharpen, and grind cutters and drills.<br>• Experience with running an electrical discharge machine (EDM), wire and / or sinker.
